Self-Care Woodland Retreat
A unique self-care opportunity in nature where you can feel as solo or supported as you need.
This is ultimately an 'a la carte' experience where you choose the elements you want to include in your stay. But to give you an idea of what a 'fully loaded' retreat experience could look like for you then here it is:
- 2 nights stay in our Camping Village
- A comprehensive handbook guiding you through reflective thoughts and intention setting journal exercises
- Three 1-hour coaching sessions with Sophia (1st one over the phone, prior to your stay to help you get focused and ready, 2nd one in person during your stay, and 3rd one over the phone one month after your stay to help you follow up with some of your intentions)
What is covered in my Retreat Handbook:
There are four main parts to this Self-Care getaway approach. There are other suggested activities included which is what makes this experience flexible to what YOU desire but for you to receive the fundamental 'Harvest the Day' experience then I highly recommend you complete the four main components at the very least. They are:
1. Reflecting
2. Intention setting
3. Visualizing
4. Affirmation creation
The other supplementary activities include some of my favourite things such as:
- Wildflower identification
- Wildcrafting with wildflowers
- Bouquet creation (guided experience)
- Magic sauce creation (guided experience)
- Meal Planning Workshop (guided experience)
Why is this Retreat for you? You are a woman who is craving:
- clarity, quiet and some guidance on how to focus on things that truly matter to you but you're caught up in the chaos and the noise of daily life
- whether you're a nature girl or not, you know you need some time outdoors in the fresh air, breathing deeply
- you're finding you don't just want a 'sustainable' lifestyle, you want a THRIVING life!
NOTE: Your camping spot will be in an area that we call the Camping Village. There are only three camping spots there plus one 'glamping' space which is a cozy camper that is also available to rent. So it's not a ton of traffic but you may see people around. And it is possible they will be doing a similar experience as you. But it is up to you how independent or social you want to be during this time.

Why is THIS the Workshop for YOU?
If you’re like me, you would probably identify more as a ‘B-Type’ kinda person. You know… not exactly the A-Type kind that see themselves as high-achievers, constantly driven and highly motivated all. the. time!
YOU are more relaxed, go-with-the-flow but unfortunately you end up procrastinating a lot and even though you may *see* yourself as easy-going… you do find yourself getting overwhelmed and a bit anxious sometimes with the never ending to-do list.
You don’t want to let those awesome B-Type qualities in you slide but you still want to get shit done!
That’s why THIS is the Workshop for YOU! It’s called ALTERNATIVE Meal Planning because it’s not like the kind of meal planning you’ve seen out there.
It’s flexible and forgiving (just like you) BUT it spurs you into action, helps you make QUICK DECISIONS and generates more creativity and self-compassion! OMG!
*Note: This Workshop and accompanying Support Group is designed to meet ANYONE where ever they're at with their home cooking skills, lifestyle, dietary choices/sensitivities/intolerances/beliefs. There will be no tolerance of any 'food/diet shaming or judging.' For example, we don't particularly encourage or discourage the consumption of any specific foods, superfoods, macro-nutrients, micro-nutrients etc. Factual information is welcome if it applies to a subject that comes up in the Workshop or Support Group but we don't need anyone INSISTING on specific ways to cook or eat. This space is designed to encourage SIMPLICITY and BIO-INDIVIDUALITY, meaning - we meet everyone at where they currently are in their food journey, with the general idea being to increase more whole foods which may take longer for some then others. Regardless, let's remember to keep things light, positive, supportive and encouraging!

What previous Workshop participants have said...
"We've had such a crazy week and it helped so much to have meals planned out. I only strayed from our plan once and used leftovers, it wasn't too much of a change. I also loved seeing all of the other meal plans to pull ideas from there for future meals"
"The workshop was great you are very calm and eoncouraging Sophia. Thank you. I am prepped grocery shopped, and ready for the week, I have some main meals planned and plan to use leftovers to fill in the blanks"
"My daughter got hit with a nasty sickness on Sunday so doing my meal plan Saturday was really a saving grace! I did make an adjustment yesterday and used leftover chicken from Monday's lunch for some chicken noodle soup for dinner."
"What's interesting to me personally is I haven't had takeout or drive thru since Saturday - may this continue"
